An NGO Organised One Day capacity Building On Gender Equality In Bauchi.

The Young Leaders Network,a non Governmental organisation based in Bauchi has conducted one day workshop on Gender Equality in Bauchi ,the event took place at American Space in Bauchi at state library.
The state representative of the Young Leaders Network,Mr Seun Justin Onarinde has made remarkable presentation on the audience during the meeting on Gender Equality and girl child safety in public schools across the state and beyond more particularly in Northern part of Nigeria.
And the Young Leaders Network has been organising series of meetings on youth participation in political leadership,Women participation in politics,good governance and leadership training Among others areas of effective democratic leadership.
During an interactive session while holding the meeting the Targeted stakeholders were principals of public schools, teachers, proprietors and government representatives from ministry of education and state Universal Basic Education Board.
During the meeting, issues were deliberated on on girl-child safety in public schools in Bauchi state and another issues centred around gender balance in school leadership.
After the meeting a communique was reached out in urging the government actors to support Gender Equality in educating the girl-child and their safety in all schools more particularly public schools .
And also the participants urge government at all levels more especially critical Stakeholders in the education industry to actually give a voice to girl-child through effective educational policies implementation in putting Nigeria at the global map of education development in the world ,the participants concluded.
