Azibaola Robert Takes Philanthropy To His Alma mater, Offered pupils pet talks By Amos Odhe
Friday , 8th July 2022 will ever remain indelible and memorable to staff and pupils of Baptist Day Primary School, Port harcourt as the school received no other than one out the thousands of very important personalities , Azibaola Robert FNSE, which the school has produced and making their own modest contribution in their different vocations and callings to the development of society.
He was accompanied in the epochal visit by his dear wife, as the popular axiom says behind every successful man, there is a woman .Others were his children and staff of Zeetin Engineering Limited.
Speaking earlier, Azibaola Robert, FNSE,a Social Thinker, Entrepreneur and Innovator, founder of Zeetin Engineering Limited attended the Baptist Day Primary School in early 80s, revealed that it was nostalgic and reminiscence on the time he spent there.
“I am visiting my alma mater today to reconnect with my academic roots where parts of my childhood journey began.I brought with me my children so that they will know their father,s educational roots where it all started”
He further stressed that, Baptist Day Primary School, gave him a solid foundation he currently leverage on in trajectory of life and was in the school to not only motivate the pupils ,but give them pet talks as a way of mentoring the kids and reassure them that preservarence can bring them bright future and they should not despair about the future.
He said” l want them to believe in themselves , take their studies seriously, aim high, and with God willing , the succeed.No child is too dull to succeed.
“I have told them,none of them should have any reason to be left behind.Showing them a good example of myself is the best gift for this young generation , so am also here to give back to my alma mater in recognition and in appreciation of the value it added to my life.
One of his children who could hold back her joy, Yepaye Robert posited that it was nostalgic to accompany his father to his alma mater.
She said ” the energy from the pupils in the school was highly infectious , they were very happy , excited and energetic to welcome us warmly.
“I was astounded by their ability to find joy and contentment with the little they have , l will never forget the little time l spent with them, the memories have a permanent place in my heart.
In her welcome address , Head Mistress of Baptist Day Primary School Port harcourt, Mrs Briggs Inoma John was so excited and elated for Azibaola Robert,s visit in remembrance of his roots, lauded and showered ecomium on him and Urged others to emulate him as the school will always beckon on the alma mater for assistance as government alone cannot solve it’s teething problems.
