Senate assures military Of strong support to secured Nigeria

The Nigeria Senate committee on defence led by its chairman Senator Aliyu Wamakko has affirmed it readiness to do all within it powers to enable the Arm Forces overcome the present security challenges confronting the country.
This remarked was made during the oversight functions to Defence Intelligent Academy (DIA) and Defence Research And Development Bureau (DRDB) respectively in Abuja. The leader of the committee Wamakko emphasized, we are very confidence that the government of president Muhammadu Buhari is determined to support officers to succeed with all that matters/required. Equally in the National Assembly, we are all out to support you to ensured Nigerians are protected wherever they may be, and while sleeping with their two eyes closed.
In other words, that every Nigerian can be safe to walk to mosque and Church, to market and even any places of their choices. I am confident that we can achieved this, Wamakko asserted.
While other committee members interacted with the officers,they asked few questions and stated categorically their commitment to the same course of making Nigeria safe for everyone.
The following are the distinguished senators involved in the oversight; Sen Istifanus Gyan, vice chairman, Sen George Sekibo, member and chairman of Navy, Sen Oluremi Tinubu, member, Sen Mohammed Nasir, member, Sen Abba Moro, member, Sen Ishaku Abu, member and Sen Yakubu Hussain.
Earlier, the chief of Defence Intelligent, Major General Samuel Abiodun Adebayo in his welcome addressed expressed profound gratitude to the chairman and members of his team for their concern and deliberate efforts to assist the military overcome all forms of threat to national security and peace in Nigeria.
In another development, the defence committee assessed with amazements the rapid level of development at Defence Research And Development Bureau, thanked the management for their effort and reassured them of Senate solid support in the area of budgetary provisions to assist their services.
The Director General who warmly received the Senate defence committee appreciated and assured the chairman and his team, the military will never let Nigerians down.
