2023 Presidency: I Will Make National Security A Top Most Priority, Says Hayatu-Deen

Ahead of parties primary elections, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen said he is determine to make national security a top most priority for every Nigerian to have access to quality life if elected President in 2023.

Hayatu-Deen, a renowned entrepreneur and economist expert pointed the reason why there is a fraction and division in the society today is as a result of bad governance.

The presidential aspirant hinted this on Friday at PDP Secretariat in Jos, Plateau State capital while speaking with delegates, calling on them to make a wise decision during party’s presidential primary election.

According to him, ” Nigeria is facing with monumental challenges of economic, security and otherwise, and unless we make functional mechanisms that would take us away from the uncertainty we found ourselves we continue suffering this brunt.

He said, ” since the discovery of oil and gas in 1970 till date we cannot have sufficient power energy and Nigeria is a large gas zone.

“We are witnessing gross institutions failure as there is no fairly stable political system to guarantee Nigerians to freely choose leaders of their choice farmers hardly go to their respective farms and people cannot longer travel far distance unlike before due to insecurity.

“I have the requisite credentials to turn the fortunes of governance in Nigeria because I believe the life of every Nigerian matters. Give me the opportunity to become president in 2023, I can assure you I intended to live a good legacy”, Hayatu-Deen mentioned.

However, the chairman of PDP Plateau State chapter, Hon. Chris Hassan for over seven years of APC administration in Nigeria the masses have suffered untold hardship, noting that it is time for Nigerians to vote a person with capacity to lead the country.

Hassan acknowledged that PDP is the only political party which can bring much anticipated dividends of democracy for Nigerians.

While assuring a level playing ground for all aspirants, the chairman said that is why the party at the National headquarters deliberate and agreed to live the presidential ticket open for every aspirants to contest.

It was learned that Mohammed Hayatu-Deen was a former of New Nigeria Development company (NNDC) and also served as special adviser to President Musa Yar’adua.
