He tasks the incoming governor of the state, to always prioritize, and work within the limit of State resources, for the benefit of the people in the State.
The former deputy governor, explained that because we are bounded, and close to other near by states, like Imo, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, and Rivers State, all this states are all oil producing states, some people think that, our state is equal to some of this states, no, stating that Abia is the least in the scale of the oil quota, where some states will be getting more billions than our own state, we produce the least, even the Anambra of yesterday is much greater both in crude oil and gas than our state.
According to him, we are no where near Rivers state, we are no where near Imo state even Akwa Ibom state, Imo state was the State, our state came out from, and that of River state.
The only one, we can talk about is Akwa Ibom state, yet they have more resources than us, because they are oil producing state, and the State is still greater, advising whosoever, is holding the mantle of leadership of the state, to prioritize well.
Stating that luckily we are good in the innovation, and also good in commerce, industry, fabrications, even in doing things with our hands, so who ever God gives this our state to handle, should handle it well. According to him, he said, he is very sure, and certain, that the state will succeed.
