Loud Ovation as AIG Sikiru Akande Retires @60
Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of zone 11 Command Osogbo, AIG Sikiru Kayode Akande gave thanks to God, his maker, who has given him the privilege to serve Nigeria, his fatherland as a police officer which availed him the opportunity to meet the high and mighty in the country and he also appreciated all men and women who by one way or the other he came across during his career as a police officer.
The Zonal Police boss revealed this to the public at his official disengagement and retirement from the force, in Osogbo, Osun State on Friday, 26th May, 2023
This was at his pulling out ceremony from the Police Force after the attainment of Sixty years of age and Thirty-three years meritorious service to his father’s land and humanity.
AIG Akande went down the memory lane to pay tributes to his parents, teachers, school mates, course mates, senior police officers and the junior ones who contributed in one way or the other to his success in life and his chosen career.
He specially eluogizes the IGP Usman Alkali Baba, for given him the opportunity to serve at the highest police management level.
He cap it up by advising the officers coming behind to be strong, hardworking and be focus as the sky is wide enough to accommodate everyone accordingly.
