A Section of FCT Residents Commends Wike for Outstanding Performance

The newly elected Chairman of Saburi Residents Association (SRA), under the auspices of Saburi Residential District, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Stanley Ike Okeke has on behalf of the residents of the area commended the Minister of FCT, Barr Nyesom Wike for his outstanding performance so far in the nation’s capital.
Addressing Journalists on Monday in his office, the chairman said that the minister has awarded 5km road from Saburi 1 and 2 to Orange Filling Station, which he said had been on – going, adding that it would go a long way to help the residents.
He however requested for more democracy dividends, like pipe borne water, regular electricity supply, extending road construction to the hinterland and streets, among others.
The Chairman noted that the spread of democracy dividends to the Satellite towns would enable residents feel the impact of Abuja, as the capital city of the giant of Africa.
Believing that Wike, whose performance as a governor in Rivers state, earned him the name: “Mr Project,” would listen to his request, he informed that Saburi hosts several industries.
He also stressed that traders of three branches of Abuja International Building Materials Markets resides in the area, adding that the category of business men and women are contributing in job creation in the FCT
Hailing the residents for chosing him to serve them, Stanley Ike Okeke however promised to do everything legitimately possible to attract the presence of the government to Saburi residential district, just as he commended the representative of AMAC/ Bwari Federal Constituency of the FCT and the executive chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Councils (AMAC), Hons. Chinedu Obika and Christopher Zakka (Maikalangu) respectively for remembering the residents of Saburi.
