Sequel to incessant report of crime increase in the state capital, that is now being perpetrated by Keke operators in and around Umuahia.
The Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has approved the immediate ban of tricycle, known as KEKE operations in Umuahia, from operating between the hours of 10pm to 6am daily till further notice.
Security agencies in the State, have been alerted, and are to arrest, detain and prosecute any defaulters.
