Aniiagwu Hits Hard On APC, Tinubu

The Delta State Commissioner for Information and the spokesperson for the Atiku, Okowa Presidential Campaign. Hon. Charles Aniagwu has tongue lashed the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and its Presidential Candidate Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu for trying to turn back the hands of the clock in the forthcoming elections.
Addressing newsmen in Asaba, Hon. Aniagwu stayed that APC is a confused party by trying to trigger off what will postpone the elections. ” They have stashed off so much money and that is why they took CBN to court. and prayed that the court should make the old naira notes available for people to withdraw. Speaking further, he said, if APC is really sincere, they won’t ask for the old currency. Asking for the old currency shows they have something sinister in mind.
Hon. Aniagwu said the Peoples Democratic Party PDP wants the election to go on as scheduled and urged the apex bank to make funds available in line with the benchmark, adding that PDP is not depending on vote buying but their pedigree. He assured that his party is ready to hit the grounds by addressing the insecurity in the country and putting round pegs in round holes. ‘ Though it may be difficult and take a long process but a journey of one thousand kilometres starts from somewhere. He also said that PDP is in full support of President Buhari, in trying to organize a free and fair election
He therefore urged the banks to improve on their ICT so as to enable the people have access to their money and thanked the people for their maturity and peaceful way of handling the cashless problem. Finally he said, by the time the recovery process starts, then the Egyptians whom you see today , you shall see more.
