APC Cleared All 17 Chairmanship, 325 Counsellors In Plateau

The ruling All progressive Congress, APC, have won all 17 Chairmanship and 325 Counsellors seats following Saturday’s 9th October, 2021 Local Government elections that held across Plateau.
The Electoral umpire, Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC) declared the results on Sunday morning.
While declaring the results, chairman of the Commission (PLASIEC) Mr. Fabian Ntung said that ” All Progressive Congress has cleared all the seventeen (17) Chairmanship tickets in the just concluded Local Government elections in Plateau State.
He also revealed that” all the three hundred and twenty five (325) Counsellorship positions across the 17 LGA were also won by the ruling APC.
Non of the remaining 6 political parties who participated in the said Election secure any victory.
You recall that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) did not participate in the elections as a result of Court judgement.
