Bauchi Monarch Applauds NDE For Youth Employment Programs

Emir of Bauchi, Dr Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu has applauded the National Directorate of Employment NDE for its various youth entrepreneurship intervention program in the State. 

Beside, the monarch also appealed to NDE and President Muhammadu Buhari for more enrollment into the project to reduce high nunber of unemployed youth with a view to make them to become self reliance

Dr Sulaiman Adamu state this while flagging off post-sustainable agricultural and goat production schemes program in Bauchi, noting that the significance of the NDE skills entrepreneurship training can not be over emphasis, hence, the need for more funds from the federal givernment. 

The emir,who was ably reprsented by the Wakilin Office, Bauchi emirate council, Zubairu Aliyu, call on the parents to ensure that they allow their wards to come on time during the training hours with a view to achieve the desire goals. 

Earlire, the Director General of the NDE, Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fipko said that the program was designed by the directorate in line with the federal government policy agenda of lifting thousands of Nigerian youth out of poverty. 

The DG, was also represented by the State Coordinator, Lawal Ali Yaya, said the was also designed to equipped the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge as well as how to develop a bankable business plan to enable them acess loans from commercials banks. 

He explain that the over 100 participants were drawn from 20 local governments and will undergo one week intensive training on post-sustainable agricultural and goat production schemes program respectively. 

On his part, the Head of department, rural employment promotion Mr Edem O. E Duke also represented by Mr Nkem Ekeamadi said the trainees will be able to gain practical knowlegde on how to rare animal (Goat) and crops productions. 

In a good well message, the State REP head of department, Inuwa Adamu urged the participants to be more dedication, committed and avail themselves at the cost of the training. 

Some of the participants interview Hannatu Zakar and Adamu Hassan express their happiness and thanked the NDE and the federal government for the gesture. 

They however, appealed to the President Muhammadu Buhari to assist them with start-up capital to enable them to grow their business after training.
