Bisibi kicks against Uzodimm’s election as Chairman, NDDC state governor’s forum

Imo political stalwart based in South Africa Chief Aaron Bisibi has condemned Governor Hope Uzodimma over Chairmanship of Nger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)
Speaking with journalists at Rock View Hotel in Owerri, Imo State, he said that being the Chairman of the APC, South East Governor’s forum has no political right to accept another Chairman ship.
Governor Hope Uzodimma should concentrate on those he had already and leave this NDDC Chairmanship to another governor within NDDC State.
The nine NDDC (Oil producing States) include: Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, Rivers.
Governor Uzodimma election as Chairman of NDDC Governors forum was confirmed at a meeting of the oil producing State Governors and the board and management of NDDC (Niger Delta Development Commission)
Speaking, governor Uzodimma said:
“There is a need to complete ongoing and abandoned projects, promoting unity, progress, and development in the region.
“proper oversight and synergy between the board and advisory committee IS important.
“A forensic committee identified projects suffering from inadequate funding, and the new board is working closely with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure their completion.”
It may be recalled that governors Uzodimma is Chairman, Southeast governors forum and also doubles as Chairman, Progressive governors forum.
