Indigenes of Abayi Community, Isiala-ngwa advise to cast their votes for all PDP candidates

The indigenes of Abayi community in Isiala ngwa South local government area, in Abia state have been urged to cast their votes for the ruling PDP party in the state come 2023 general election.
The Honorable commissioner for local government and chieftancy Affairs, Hon.Christopher Enweremadu made the appeal during a town hall meeting with the community last Monday.
During the meeting,the Commissioner enjoined the people to massively vote PDP the ruling party in the state, especially that of the governorship, which their own brother/son Prof.Uche Ikonne is contesting for. He advised them not to allow the opportunity elude them.
According to him” Abayi community will be more better off during the Uche Ikonne’s administration, stating that anything they could not get from the present administration,they will get it in Ikonne’s administration. sighting that obingwa was backward before the emergence of Dr okezie ikpeazu, as the governor of the state.
He further assured the Abayi people of a strong security outfit to help tackle the issue of insecurity in the community and advised the youth to shun any negative behavior, that can bring their down fall. Instead, they should seek for good ways of making money instead of stealing or kidnapping.
In his reaction, on the people complained on their bad road, and that of area of light, which they don’t have for sometime now, the commissioner promised to get to the governor on their behalf, he assured them, that their problems will be adequately taking care of.
Earlier in his speech the councilor,representing Ngwaukwu ward 4b in the community, Hon prosper Ogwuma, said the essence of the town hall meeting is to educate the people on the important of joining the winning team, Which is PDP and also to give a warm reception to their son in-law, the commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Hon Christopher Eweremadu, as well as tabling their problems before him.
He assured the commissioner of the total support to the party, promising to delivered PDP in the community come 2023 general election.
Also speaking,Hon K C Chidiadi, who is one the special advisers to the governor, said the essence of the meeting was to sensitize the people of Abayi on were to belongs as regards to politics in the state.
Saying that Abayi community supposed to have a big voice in the country by now, it is a community that ever produced a Central Bank governor, in the state, plus few others, and yet the community is lacking behind politically. According to him the people of Abayi will delivered all the PDP candidates come 2023 general election in the state, as this will now convinced government of their seriousness.
The highlights of the event was a cash empowerment of a hundred thousand naira each, for a total of twenty two youths, in the community, on
gender equality of eleven, eleven by the commissioner.
