Jos Based Business Mogul, Chief Okponwa Bemoans Ta’agbe Mayhem

A Jos based business mogul, Chief Chinedu Okponwa, popularly called “Jolex” has on Saturday bemoan the resurgence of attack in Bassa Local Government Area by the enemies of Plateau.
Okponwa vehemently condemned the killings of innocent citizens of Ta’agbe village of Miango district, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
You would recall that about ten (10) were reportedly killed and thirty (30) houses burnt down beyond recognition when unknown assailants launched an attack to Ta’agbe community around 2:00am on Friday morning of 26th November,2021.
Chief Okponwa described the incidence as barbaric and total inhuman.
He said it is a calculated attempt by the enemies of the state to disrupt the hard earned peace and putting the state in bad light before the international community.
He called on the security agencies rationalize modalities and act fast to unravel those behind the attacks, noting that Plateau State Government has done so much in terms of peace building process.
While sympathizing with the family victims of those killed, Irigwe Nation and Plateau as a whole, Chief Okponwa appeal to Government and spirited individual to come to the aid of the affected persons.
He equally called on the good people of Ta’agbe community, Miango and the entire state to remain vigilant and alert the security personnel on any suspicious movement in their environs.
