MISPLACEMENT OF A NOKIA PHONE A TWENTY SEVEN YEARS OLD MAN SHOT DEAD IN UMUAHIA THE ABIA STATE CAPITAL.

Following the misplacement of a Nokia torch phone, the twenty seven years old young man, was shot to death yesterday, by the vigilante/security man of the company, following the order of the manager of De choice fast food restaurants, the young man, who was identified as Izuchukwu Mbakwe, who hailed from Umuosu Nkwoegwu in Ohuhu Umuahia, was a staff of the De choice fast food restaurants in Umuahia.
The information has it that, the young man who was mistakenly accused of stealing the company Nokia phone, that was misplaced, was immediately shot by the security guard, before the Nokia phone was found, the young man who was shot to death, was being owned five months salary.
Now the Ohuhu Welfare Union Umuahia Abia state, is demanding, justice for the late Izuchukwu Mbakwe who was allegedly shot at close range by the security personnel of Abia state Vigilante service (AVS) detailed to De choice fast food restaurants in Umuahia.
In an official letter addressed to the Manager De choice, no. 2 Market Road by Okpara square Umuahia, dated 27th March 2023; signed by the President-General Ohuhu Welfare Union,Chief Okechukwu Johnson Uwazie and the Secretary-General Mr Akachi Andrew Nwogu, said,” Ohuhu Welfare Union demanded within 48 hours justice for their son on the sadly and regrettably ugly incident that occurred at your business premises which resulted to the death of our son, Mr Izuchukwu Mbakwe, 27 years, old of Umuosu Nkwoegwu in Ohuhu, who was allegedly shot at point-blank range by a security personnel of Abia State Vigilante Service (AVS) detailed to your property on yet to be defined misunderstanding.
“It was also alleged that the late Uzochukwu Mbakwe , before his death was being owed five (5) months salary by the organization.
They also request for the full cooperation of the owner of De choice fast food restaurants with the Nigeria police in the course of the investigation to ensure that, the law take its course”
