NANS visits Senator Wamakko over his third-time elecio to Senate

The leadership of National Association of Nigerian students led by the founder of the Youth Coalition for Education in Nigeria (YCED-Nigeria) and a member of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Engr. Igwe Ikechukwu Franklyn, has paid a courtesy visited on the people’s Senator Alhja Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, sarkin yamman Sokoto to congratulate him on his induction into the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

During the visit on Thursday at his resident in Abuja, Engr. Igwe, expressed their delights. He thanked and mentioned that the senator, being a former governor and a three-time senator, deserved the congratulatory visit from the youth and student communities, as well as the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students.

According to him, Dr Wamakko possesses impeccable credentials and has a genuine interest in students. We are delighted to celebrate his induction into the 10th assembly and encourage him to continue supporting the youths and education, as a nation’s growth is closely tied to the development of its young population. With individuals like senator Wamakko in the 10th assembly, Nigeria is expected to reach greater heights.

While responding to the presentation of congratulatory certificate and flex portrait presented to him by student representatives, Alhja Wamakko appreciated them for the visit and promised that the 10th senate will not let Nigeria youths/ students down, he then blessed them.

In attendance were NANS Secretary, Usman Baba Kankia (ABU Zaria), Igwe Ikechukwu Franklyn (Founder of the Youth Coalition for Education and Development in Nigeria), and other NANS members.
