NPFL:Plateau United records 1st home victory against Heartland FC

Plateau United secured a maximum points victory when they took a date with Heartland FC of Owerri in match day two of the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, 2023/2024 season.
Mundi Bernard put the home side Plateau United on the lead with a fantastic volley in 12 minutes into the first half after
a clean through pass by Barnabas Daniel.
Peace Boys, Plateau United which hosted visiting Heartland FC of Owerri at Jos Zaria Road Stadium on Sunday got plenty opportunity to increase their goals tally but that doesn’t came to reality.
Speaking to newsmen after 90 minutes of the encounter, chief coach of Plateau United, Mbwas Mangut, said Well, they are getting it right. The speed of simulation there for me, tends to be a little bit slow. “There’s no surprise for the Auckland because when you take it too slow, there’s no way you can open up the difference.
“And we can some formation today shall keep people wide open an invitation, which we call that for the most difficulty is our voice a lot. During the separation we speak and I think is another thing. I have to work more on it.

Recall Plateau United lost their first opening game away from home to 3SC FC. The Peace Boys will now travel to Benin to keep a date with Bendel Insurance in NPFL match day three slated for 11th October, 2023.
