Okigwe Zone Adopts PDP Candidate over Nov.11, 2023 Guber. Election in Imo — Ngaobiwu

The Honorable Member Represented Obowu State Constituency from 2007, 2011, 2015 Hon. Celestine Ngaobiwu has stated that Okigwe zone has adopted People’s Democratic Party(PDP) flag bearer Senator Samuel Anyanwu for November 11, 2023 Gubernatorial Election in Imo State.
Speaking with Journalists yesterday in Owerri, Imo State, he said that Senator Samuel Anyanwu is the only credible politician who has all it takes to remedy the dastard situation of Imo State, and by extension has good qualities which include , competence, resilience, and above all impeccable character and human sagacity.
He stated that the present administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma of APC has relegated the State to stone age period, all the Industries in Imo State have gone moribund which include Aluminium Extrusion Industry at Inyishi, Ikeduru, Avutu poultry Farm, Shoe Factory in Owerri zone and Cardboard Industry at Owerri-eberi amongst others in Orlu zone have gone into oblivion by this present administration
Ngaobiwu further highlighted that under the Charter of Equity, Governor Achike Udenwa started in 1999 and ended his two terms of eight years in 2007 and Governor Ikedi Ohakim started from 2007 ended abruptly in 2011 without completing eight years and the power went back to Orlu again headed by Governor Rochas Okorocha who completed eight years in 2019.
He said that Governor Emeka Ihedioha from Owerri zone stayed only seven month and the power went back to Orlu again with senator Hope Uzodimma, and when he finish in
2027 eight years term it become twenty four years of Orlu zone on governorship seat of the Imo State therefore Orlu Zone has ruled out of the November 11, 2023 governorship race in Imo State.
