The Gubernatorial Candidate of People Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), Action Congress(AA) and other (14) fourteen political parties in Imo State have lambasted the government of All Progressive Congress(APC) headed by Senator Hope Uzodimma over imposition of N54 million to mount bill board to advertise their parties for November, 11th 2023 gubernatorial election in Imo State.

Speaking with Journalists in Owerri, Imo State capital recently, the gubernatorial candidate of PDP, Senator Samuel Anyanwu accused APC government in Imo State of being vindictive, despotic, monopolistic, overzealous, which according to him lacked democratic ethics and administration.

He said that right now the political atrocities committed by APC government has made them unpopular before the watchful eyes of Imolites, stressing that the party has already lost November 11th, 2023 gubernatorial election in Imo State.

In his reaction, the gubernatorial candidate of Action Alliance Rtd. Maj.Gen.
Ogunewe highlighted that APC is not a political party but an association of frustrated people who want to grab power by all means, and also get rich at the expense of the masses, adding that time has gone when P
politicians use bill boards to win election.

“Since the foundation of Democracy across the Cosmos, this is my first time to see a political party who has no ideology, focus,no single democrat operating in it,and who do not want opposition of any kind, not knowing that opposition is the beauty of democracy”
