PAP : General Elaye Slaboh Urges Amnesty Beneficiaries to be Calm

The new National Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme,Phase 3, General Elaye Slaboh has called on the beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme to be patient with the amnesty office as preparations are ongoing for the commencement of payment of September Stipends, appealing for calm and calling for the jettisoning any form of protest in the region that will paint our image in bad light.
Slaboh made the appeal amidst rumors that some sponsored beneficiaries have concluded arrangements to embank on protest against the presidential Amnesty office over delay in the payment of September Stipends.
He also advised the aggrieved beneficiaries to always resort to peaceful and proper enquiry from the appropriate leaderships and authorities in various Phases as to the current state of things in the Office before embarking on actions which are most times masterminded by some desperate leaders who are only after their personal interests.” We need to make proper equiry and avoid any tendency to be mislead by some disgruntled elements who are after their personal agenda to the detriment of our shared collective interest” he said.
He assured the beneficiaries that payment of September Stipends shall commence this weekend or early next week , all things being equal.
He further stated that the issue of those BVN affected beneficiaries will soon be a thing of the past as hands are on deck to resolve it amicably the presidential Amnesty Program under the leadership of our listening Interim Administrator, Major General Tariye Barry Ndiomu (rtd)
