Pilgrims Board Calls on Intending Pilgrims to be Good Ambassadors of Bauchi, Nigeria

The Bauchi State Pilgrims Welfare Board has charged intending umrah pilgrims heading to the Holy Land of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for Ramadan umrah pilgrimage to be good ambassadors of Bauchi state and Nigeria at large.
This was disclosed to the press statement by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Abdulrahman Idris, in Bauchi during a farewell ceremony organised for the 2023 prospective umrah pilgrims.
The Executive Secretary further urged them to obey the laws of Saudi Arabia and portray Nigeria in good image”
He also advised them to use the opportunity to pray for themselves as well as the peace and development of Nigeria.
The Executive Secretary warned against carrying any prohibited items and charged them to do the right thing and wished them journey mercies back home from holy Mecca.
Highlights of the event was a special prayer led by malam Abdullahi of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi.
