Plateau: Monarch tasks media on objective reportage as Plateau NUJ 1st female chairman seeks royal blessings

The paramount ruler, Ujah Anaguta and chairman Jos North traditional council, His Royal Majesty Pozoh Johnson Jauro Magaji II has charged Journalists to be realistic and objectivity in telling Plateau happenings.
Pozoh Johnson Magaji II opines that Plateau people has a long standing history of culture and tradition anchored on peaceful coexistence and harmonious relationship which should be cherish against all odds.
The monarch made the clarion called on Monday when the newly elected executive members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Plateau State Council led by its Chairman Ayuku Pwaspo paid a courtesy visit to the palace of Ujah Anaguta Nation seeking for royal blessings.
He said the emergence of the new executive members of NUJ Plateau counsel is a new down.
“The narrative about Plateau must change because we can’t continue like that. Sometimes when I saw what is peddling on the social media Plateau I almost shed tears.
“Let the media be realistic and promote the culture of unity and harmonious coexistence of the state.
“Youths should not allowed politicians to continue playing with their psyche for their own selfish interest. The era of politicking is over, let unites ourselves and accord maximum cooperation for Barr.Caleb Mutfwang led administration to provide good governance for Plateau.
“I want to also task all the new executives and members of the NUJ Plateau state council to rally support around the chairman as the traditional council will continue praying for the growth and development of NUJ.
Ayuku Pwaspo who emerged the first female chairman in the 45 years of existence of NUJ Plateau state council, told the paramount ruler that we returned here today to inform that your propelled us victory.
“Journalists been the watch dog of the society, we will keep projecting the true story of Plateau as we partner and collaborate with Anaguta Nation and other ethnic nationalities in the state.
The NUJ executives also paid a condolence visit to some of their members that were bereave.
