Security: Major Gen. Ali Charges Personnel To Embrace Modern Technology

In a bit to overcome security challenges bedevilling Nigeria, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division of the Nigeria Army and the Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN Jos, Major Gen. Ibrahim Ali have charged the men and Officers of the Nigeria Army to embraced Modern technology.
Gen. Ali said personnel should improve their skills with modern technology by embracing digital security networks in the country.
The GOC made the disclosured on Wednesday at Maxwell Kolbe Cantonment, 3 Division Rukuba Barrack, Jos, while delivering his opening remarks at the sensitization lecture on the use of Digital Emergency Alert and Tracking Application.
He told the officers that the current security challenges call for prompt use of technology to overcome it, noting that “you are advised to go with modern technology in tackling it”.
In his presentation, the resource Person, Mr. Atai Akpan who is a digital transformation expert noted that the application would be useful against crimes such as kidnapping, banditry, and other criminality.
The sensitization lecture featured an interactive session as well as practical session, where the use of the application was demonstrated to the officers.
Allan maintained that the training you are getting today is to update your skills in the tactical operation of the theatre field.
