Sport:Governor Mutfwang felicitates new management of PFA

Plateau State Governor, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, has congratulated the former member of the House of Representative, Hon. Sulaiman Yahaya-Kwande, on his emergence as the Chairman of the Plateau State Football Association,PFA.
In a congratulatory message, signed by Gyang Bere,Director of Press and Public Affairs, Governor Mutfwang noted that Hon. Kwande’s election was a significant milestone for the Plateau State Football Association. He encouraged Hon. Kwande to leverage his friendships and industry connections to enhance the state’s football landscape.
Mutfwang expressed his delight in Plateau’s international recognition as a hub of football talent. He urged Hon. Kwande and the new executive members to focus on nurturing local talents within the state, with a view to elevating them to the international arena.
The Governor emphasized the importance of innovative approaches and creative initiatives to make football a more appealing and profitable venture, benefiting both the state and its citizens.
He reassured of his administration’s commitment to creating a conducive environment and providing necessary support for the growth of football activities in the state.
He also congratulated Ezra Simon Godit, Patrick Habu Pakwai, and Don Maren Nuhu, who respectively assumed the roles of 1st Vice Chairman, 2nd Vice Chairman, and Chairman of Chairmen. Additionally, he extended his congratulations to Board Members Salisu Anani, Godfrey Stubs, Mohammed Salisu Shuaibu, Jonah Maren Mafwalal, and Ajiji Ibrahim Sambo.
The Governor urged the new executive team to embrace Plateau’s diversity, fostering unity and prosperity. He envisioned a future where international clubs would seek out talented players from the state.
