Uzodimma urged journalists on objective reportage

The Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma has urged Imo State lournalists to Imbibe on objective reportage that was the fundamental objective of digital technology.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy Chief Declan Emelumba who spoke on behalf of governor on one day professional Development Work shop for practicing journalists in Imo State tagged Upgrading strategic Communication Competencies in the Digital Era.
He disclosed that Digital Technology is anchored on factual reportage based on evidence and he urged the practicing journalists to work for the success of his administration.
In his contribution the Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ)Imo State Chapter Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma highlighted that the theme of the work is germane as we work within the 21st Century which characterized by dexterity in Information Technology.
“There is the need to embrace the skills of the digital times in order to transact in digital trends for effective media delivery. One does not need to think analogue in the digital times but to be able to upgrade to the current trend in order to be on top of events.
This reality is necessary to migrate operations to the new realities so that media practitioners of Imo State will rise to the same performance level with their to the same performance level with their peers across the the world.
