You Have Thought Us A Good Lesson’, Ex-President Jonathan Tells Jang

The former Nigeria President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan stated that Senator Jonah David Jang, the former Governor of Plateau State has thought Nigerians a good lesson worthy of emulation.
Jonathan made the remarks on Friday during the official dedication of ten (10) commandments prayer alter in Doi, Du district, Jos South Local Government Area, Plateau State.
The ten commandments monument which is conceived by the president of Yeshua kingdom foundation international, Senator Jonah Jang had about 5,800 sitting capacity.
According to the former President Jonathan, “it is a lesson for all of us because is not every body that can mobilize all the resources to build this because having been in Government and approved projects whenever you go round and see you can imagine the amount of money spent.
“So, is not every body that can do this but in our own little way we can build alters in different forms. He thought us a big lesson. Before I die what should I do that people would remember me for? He stated.
He said Jonah Jang is following the footsteps of General Yakubu Gowan very well.
“You used the gun to fight for this country to keep us together, having dropped the gun he has carried a mightier weapon that is the Bible to use it and bring Nigeria together.
“Jonah Jang is doing exactly the same thing in special way. Jonah Jang as a person was a fine soldier used the gun to keep Nigeria one, then, of course he was a military Governor and came a civilian Governor again, went to the Senate and he has done all this services but still all because is to serve humanity.
“Is still not fulfilled and by the grace of God he had a vision to build this facility which is quite unique.
“We have to thank your Excellency, most distinguished Senator for this vision the ten (10) commandments. The name is very unique and when we went through the facility I think that yes….. this is really a ten commandments”.
However, Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State and his counterpart Darius Ishaku of Taraba State which through their representatives shower encomium to senator Jang, noting he has made history that Nigeria would be recognise in the comity of Nations.
