AEDC Comment distribution of Free Meters to Karu,Mararaba, Nyanyan, Ado residents

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has comment the distribution of free meters to residents of Karu residents in AMAC municipality area of FCT and Mararaba,New Karu,Ado and New Nyanyan of Nassarawa State.
The exercise which comment yesterday in the area office of AEDC in karu witness a large turnout of residents as customers tried to out do each person to get the meter.
The Century Newsupdate gathered,the process was conducted peaceful as customers were served base on first-comes bases,however most of the customers were complaining of the arrangement which is slowing down the release of the meters as most of them keep waiting for turn yesterday to get to their turn.
The free meters distribution was coming on the heel of the national policy by the Federal government to measures house holdings by electricity consumers to easy the problem of billing by the consumer.
One of the Customer Gabriel Ode ,say “he was very happy to receive his meter as the installing the meter will help him know how much electricity,he is paying for his electricity bill and avoid been disconnected by the AEDC staff anytime they come working in house.
Although,it seem,many people were not in known of the exercise even with the placement of advertorial by AEDC in different daily as news of the exercise filter to some through friends.
