Army Gives Reason for Sealing Orlu Timber Market in Imo State

The Commandant of 34 Field Artillery Brigade Obinze, Big. Gen. Raymond Utsaha has said that the Military sealed Orlu Timber Market because the hoodlums were using it to shield themselves in arm confrontation with the Law Enforcement Agencies in Imo State.
Speaking in Owerri, Imo State recently, he said that their duty is not to seal Market or do anything enemical to the People of the State, but to do everything humanly possible to maintain peace and tranquility, not in Imo State alone but across the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He called on the youths of the State to refrain from anything that will provoke the Law Enforcement Agencies in the Imo State, adding that the Agencies were in the State to protect lives and properties in every dimensions.
A trader in the market who gave his name as Jude Akobundu said that the Military Sealed the Orlu Timber Market because they embarked on sit at home to monitor the trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case in Abuja High Court.
