APC Deserts Uzodimma, supports Okorocha’s faction in Imo State

The Twenty Seven Local Government Chairmen of All Progressive Congress (APC) have deserted Governor Hope Uzodimma and supported the former Governor of Imo State Senator Rochas Okorocha’s faction in Imo State
The embattled APC Chairman Chief Dan Nwafor said that since the inception of Governor Hope Uzodimma in Imo State APC has not have meetings from Ward to State Level, that is enough evidence that APC in Imo State has lost confidence in him,and also unable to lead Imo State in 2023 Gubernatorial election
Nwafor revealed that the Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma has made provocative comments against the founding fathers of APC since his assumption of office.
” Governor Hope Uzodimma has relegated and belittle APC in Imo State to the extent that Imolites are no longer interested in the Party ,we need democrats who will redeem the good Image of the Party “
Meanwhile, the Party stalwarts which includes Senator Rochas Okorocha the former Governor of Imo State, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume, Hon.Ugonna Ozurigbo, Hon. Chike Okeafor, Former SSG Sir Aloy Ejiogu, Hon. Kingsley Uju, Former Deputy Governor Mmadumere, Hon. Member Representing Ikeduru Uche Ogbuagu, Hon.Member Representing Oru-west Dominic Ezerioha, Hon. Member Representing Ihitte Uboma Onyemaechi Njoku, Hon.Member Representing Obowu Kennedy Ibe and other APC members in the Imo State House of Assembly deserted Governor .
Similarly the chairman Caretaker Committee of APC in Imo State Chief Marcellinus Nlemeigbo told journalists in Owerri recently that APC members in the State are solidly behind the State Governor senator Hope Uzodimma and as such passed vote of confidence in him and his administration.
