Imo Govt. Donates Palliative Worth N60m to Fulani/Housa Community

Imo State Government has philanthropically donated palliative worth about N60 million to Fulani/Housa Community across the 27
Local Government Areas of of Imo State for the celebration of Eid-el Kabir .
While receiving the palliative which includes Caws, bags of Rice and numerous condiment, the Representative of Sokoto Caliphate and the Spiritual Leader of Fulan/Housa Community in Imo State, Sariki Awal Baba Suleiman thanked Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma for his kind gesture.
He Said that Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma is a detribelised politician who knows that what is good for the Goose is also good for the Gander, and urged other governors to emulate Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Suleiman further stated that Eid-el Kabir is a celebration of sacrifice, also called for love, tolerance of one another irrespective of tribe.
He gave assurance that there will never be any crisis between Fulani/Housa and Communities in Imo State, and also be careful to any thing that will breach the peace of the state and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Fulani/Housa in Imo State are very peaceful,making their living from services they render to the people of the State and collect token to make ends meet.
We have been located here (Ama -Housa) Over 150 years ago, we do not tolerate any Fulani/Housa that will cause trouble in Imo State “he disclosed.
In the same vein the Chairman of Moslem Council of Imo State Prince Basheer Uwakwe highlighted that the call for Balcanization of Nigeria was conspicuously caused by our leaders, adding that the only solution is for them to retrace their footsteps and do the real thing expected of him.
