Armed Bandits Attack Governor Ortoms Convoy

Gunmen on Saturday attacked the convoy of Benue State Gov. Samuel Ortom, along the Makurdi-Gboko road.

According to report, there was a heavy exchange of gunfire between the gunmen, suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, on the governors convoy, while on his way from his farm.

Meanwhile, the Governor has promised, that he will never give these Fulani herdsmen chance to take over the Country, and people’s ancestral home.

The Governor who said, the President has given them go head to shoot outside anyone seen with Ak47.

No arrest has been made following the attack on the Governor.
