Bauchi Environmental Protection Agency Pledged To Improve Sanitary Condition Of Correctional Center

Bauchi State Environmental Protection Agency ( BASEPA) has pledged to improve the sanitary condition of the Bauchi Custodial facility in oder to make decent and habitable to the inmates.
The decision was part of the discussion between the Director General of the Agency Dr Ibrahim Kabir and the House Keeper of the Centre when the DG led a team of Environmental Health Officers and other officials of the Agency on a special visit to the facility this evening.
The Director General said that his Agency will focus more on the issues of good sanitary and hygienic living at the Center, especially prompt evacuation of the custodial suck-away and ceptic tanks for the health and well being of the inmates as well as residents neighboring the Custodial Center.
He also assured the House Keeper of his Agency’s readiness to provide professional and technical advice and suggestions on how best to manage the facility for the health of the inmates.
The House Keeper appreciated the team for the visit and also extended the Comptroller General of the Correctional Services esteem regards to the Agency as contained in a statement by Isyaka Laminu Badamasi, SA Media to DG BASEPA.
