Bauchi Govt donates 59 cars to campaign Coordinators

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has consolidated the process of retaining his seat with the donation of 59 vehicles to local government campaign coordinators, members of the Central Working Commitee of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, and Zonal Commitee members of the party.
The governor, shortly before the presentation of the vehicles to the beneficiaries, at Government House, Bauchi, on Sunday, boasted that his administration had fulfilled 90 percent of his campaign promises.
Mohammed, who admitted that his achievements of four years as governor might not be enough to win 100 percent support of the electorates in view of what he termed lies being peddled by the opposition, explained that the vehicles would facilitate the success of the PDP at the polls.
“We are ready to face those that have stolen the wealth of the people, we are ready to face those who think Bauchi people are idiots. We are ready to come out with all our arsenal,” he said.
He chargwd the LG Campaign Coordinators to be battle ready and move into every nook and cranny of the state in the forthcoming campaigns.
He said he shed tears of joy over the overwhelming support he received from delegates and party leadership to clinch the gubernatorial ticket, after his painful loss of the PDP Presidential ticket to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
“Now we are back to Bauchi and l am grateful. This gesture made me to cry with joy because the enemies meant otherwise,” he stated.
“We are ready to do better. I charge you all to enter every nook and cranny.
We are ready counter all the lies they are spreading and claims of giving false forms to people. Who has benefitted from their lies? We are not like them.
“This election in Bauchi is like going into war and we are not afraid of fetish people.i wish the election is tommorow we are ready.
“Nobody can come and decieve our traditional rulers, nobody can come and deceive our youths and nobody can come and deceive the electorate”
He said supporters of opposition parties in the state are joining the PDP in droves and assured aggrieved members, particularly those who lost out in the last primaries that the reconcilation Commitee he set up would address every issues and reconcile all aggrieved members.
“We will bring together all aggrieved parties because PDP is ready to conquer,” he said.
“We will build more roads, build more hospital and will focus on local government areas that have not been touched.
“I promise to give all Deputy Campaign Coordinators cars, musicians, youths will also benefit.i assure you all that every one will be carried along”
Chairman of PDP, Bauchi State, Hamza Koshe Akuyam, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for the gesture.
Akuyam said the party was proud of the governor because he has delivered on his campaign promises to the credit.of the partt and therefore deserved to be re-elected by the electorate in the state.
“With what you have done in the last four years, no candidate can match you in the contest,” the PDP Chairman stated.
“We thank our Governor for the good work he is doing and this is a testimony that we should continue to elect only true sons and daughters into elective offices , not outsiders,” he said.
He said 14 Central Working Committee members, the administrative Secretary, of Zonal Working Commitee, the PDP Chairman Dass LG are among officials.of the party that benefitted from the car donation..
“This is justice and we appreciate it .
In PDP our leadership is about justice and respect for leaders. The governor has donated cars to all ward Chairmen in the 323 wards in the state. There is virtually none you have not empowered. We will continue to support you,” he assured.
