Bauchi to Commence Airlifting of 3,132 Intending Pilgrims to Holy Land

Bauchi government has stated that all the necessary arrangements is being put in place for commencement of the airlifting of 3,132 approved slots of the intending pilgrims on this year’s Hajj from the state.
The Director Operations in the State Hajj Commission, Mohammed Sabiu Barau, stated this in an exclusive interview with Correspondents in Bauchi, that the Commission has secured one hundred additional seats.
According to him, the Commission is fully ready and all necessary mechanisms have been set in motion and government has appointed the supervisory team and officials in all levels of hajj administrations in the State.
He disclosed that the Hajj Camp is ready to receive the pilgrims, airport is also ready to commence operations.
He also added that, as it was scheduled by the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) if all things goes right by 28th of this month, five days from today our first plight will depart from Bauchi to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Bara’u further disclosed that, the Commission had received full supply of luggages and hand bags and from tomorrow, the Commission will commence distributions of items to the intending pilgrims.
He also explained that, the Commission had decentralized the vaccination centers to ease the suffering of the intending pilgrims to a close hospitals in their local government areas and the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital (ATBU-TH), Bauchi State.
He however, call on all the intending pilgrims to ensure compliance with the Covid-19 protocols and coorporate with the hajj officials in Nigeria and in Saudi Arabia to avoid violating rules as well as to achieve their desire goals during the hajj operations.
