Commissioner for trade and Industry Receives Chieftaincy Title in Abiriba

The former commissioner for information in Abia State, now trade and industry, Chief John Okeiyi Kalu, received a chieftaincy tittle of Nwadugbom of Abiriba Kingdom.
The Abia State Deputy Governor, Ude Oko Chukwu last Saturday at Abiriba Kingdom extolled the Enachoke, Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu for protecting and sustaining the cultural heritage of his people and that of Igbo land in general.
The deputy governor, made the commendation after the conferment of the chieftaincy title of “Ikiriki oku” of Abiriba Kingdom as part of activities marking his twenty one years reign on the throne, which held at his Agbaezi Palace. Stressed the need for Ndi Igbo to cherish and be proud of our culture and also help to pass it on to our future generations.
The Deputy Governor, also thanked the Enachoken and entire Abiriba people, for finding him worthy of the honour, done to him, as well as their overwhelming support to him, since when he was in the house to now, and promised not to disappoint them for their confidence in him.
Also when he was interacting with some journalist in his Abiriba Kingdom, after being conferred with the chieftaincy title of Nwandugbom of Abiriba Kingdom, the former Commissioner for information, now Trade and Investment, Chief John Okiyi Kalu appreciated his Paramount leader, the Enachoken of Abiriba Kingdom, Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu for the rare privilege accorded him and assured that he will continue to do more in delivering the much needed dividend of democracy and change the developmental narratives of Abiriba Kingdom and beyond.
The event featured admonition from the Enachoken of Abiriba Kingdom, Eze Kalu Kalu Ogbu to the recipients attracted the presence of the Federal and State legislators, members of the State Executive Council, Permanent Secretaries, Govt Officials, Captains of lndustry and other personalities.
