Mr Charles Orbih has assumed duty as new Comptroller of the Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) Abia /Imo Command Owerri.
Addressing Principal Officers in the Command Headquarter, Owerri, Imo State after receiving Change of Barton from Comptroller G. O. Adegoke ,he congratulated her on decisive achievement and pledged to Improve on what she has achieved.
He further highlighted that he has ever committed to service in line with his constitutional mandate and implored the Officers and Men of Abia /Imo Command Owerri to cooperate with him so as to realise their professional assignment with best result.
Orbih however enjoined journalists to focus on the ethics of journalism profession which include balance and Objectivism, urged journalists in Imo State to avoid biases, misconception and Unnecessary prejudices in their reportage.
Similarly, the exclusive function of Abia /Imo Command of the Nigeria custom Service delved on Exercise duty, Fee License, Exercise of Wine duty and Tobacco for Federal Government Revenue Generation.
