Secondary schools in Plateau State has stage a protests as they advised Federal Government of Nigeria against signing the European Union and Africa-Caribbean and Pacific countries (EU-ACP) Partnership Agreement.

The schools also urged Nigerian parliaments to avoid ratifying the ‘deceptive’ treaty.

According to the students, if the ACP governments succumb to the European Union’s intimidation and sign the Lesbianism, Gay marriage, Bisexual, Transgender and Bisexual (LGBT) agreement it would spell doom for the Nation and jeopardize their future as students.

Recall that a crucial meeting between the EU and ACP ministers took place in Brussels on November 28, 2022, to potentially exert greater pressure on the officials to persuade their heads of government to sign the contentious LGBT agreement.

Another meeting with the same objective took place from June 19 to 28 this year in Brussels. The meetings ended in a deadlock, as ACP parliamentarians and leaders vehemently opposed the signing of the document.

Speaking to newsmen in Jos the state capital on Wednesday,Dr. Ekaete Ettang who is a counsellor and teacher revealed that there are 66 types of transgender in the world.
“I am here with a very heavy heart, I am concern about the future of our children because I know that any nation that has a moral compass can lead the world.

“We are not in the colonial era. We are a nation with sovereignty and we have the right to protect our children from danger. The kind of policy they are trying to introduce in Nigeria is not adding value to them, is not adding value to parents and is not adding value to the nation, and in terms of character is not adding value to anybody.

“So those agreement that appears they want to sign between Nigeria and ACP there is a subtility in that agreement that introduce LBGT ideology and I want to say that, that is war against the nation, war against the family, war against the children destiny.

“Schools and parents and well meaning Nigerians should rise up because we have suffered enough….should we add this cause? It is a cause on us were suffering. Should we add something like this to confused our children when we are struggling with the issues of drugs and other vices to come and add this one?

“Please we are pleading that if there is any inclination towards that president Ahmed Bola Tinubu should not sign it because it is a death warrant. We parents are crying because if you add this one it will destroyed the destiny of our children and the Nation and were not afford to add this to our curriculum.

“What value would  this add to our national identity, what value would this add to our educational curriculum, what value would this add to families. This is a complete destruction that is coming.

“Excuse me, go to the Western World I have been there and what is happening there they are trying to handle the confusion. God give us sound mind and courage and we should stand up and said enough is enough and no to this manipulation.
Recall former president Muhammadu Buhari declined the bill in 2015 when former US president Barrack Obama introduced it.
