GEN MUSA (RTD) WELCOMES REINSTATED PERMANENT SECRETARY, MR RICHARD PHEELANGWAH, BACK TO MINISTRY OF DEFENCE

ABUJA — The Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), OFR, has formally welcomed the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, Mr Richard Pheelangwah, back to the Ministry following the lifting of his suspension and his subsequent reinstatement by the Federal Government.

Speaking during the reception, Mr Pheelangwah expressed appreciation to the Federal Government for the opportunity to resume his duties. He reaffirmed his commitment to discharging his responsibilities with renewed dedication, professionalism and an unwavering sense of duty to national service.

In his remarks, the Honourable Minister expressed confidence in the cordial working relationship between the Ministry’s leadership and emphasised the importance of sustaining and strengthening their existing synergy to effectively advance the Ministry’s mandate.

The occasion underscored the Ministry of Defence’s commitment to institutional continuity, effective service delivery, mutual cooperation and the sustained pursuit of Nigeria’s defence and national security objectives.
