Imolites reject relocation of repentant Boko Haram terrorists rehabilitation Camp to Imo State

Following the trending news that Federal Government has concluded arrangement to relocate repented Boko Haram terrorists rehabilitation Camp from Borno, Sokoto, Kano amongst others from Northern Nigeria to Nsu Community in Eheme Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.

Imolites across the Twenty Seven Local Governments Areas of Imo State have vehemently rejected the move by Federal Government to relocate the deadly Boko Haram terrorists rehabilitation Camp to Nsu, Eheme Mbano h at Eheme Local Government headquarters, former Councillor in the area who gave his name as Hon. Fab.Nwaebo said that the Federal Government has decided to sack Nsu Community in Eheme Mbano LGA and replace them with the so called repentant Boko Haram terrorists.

He further highlighter that the implication is that Federal Government has decided to compensate terrorism with the village of innocent Nsu people.

Nwaebo however advised the traditional ruler in the area, Local Government Chairman, Governor, Ohanaeze, religious leaders, politicians of different calibre of this region to demand reason for sacking Nsu Community and resettling Boko Haram terrorists.

“Where will the Nsu people be relocated,knowing fully well that displaced people to be relocated have their ancestral land, instead of the Federal Government to
to relocate them back to in their ancestral land, they decided to displace Nsu people to only God knows where”

In the same development APC Chieftain from Owerri-West LGA, Chief Charles Obiyo called on the Indigenes of Eheme Mbano with traditional rulers to resist the relocation of Boko Haram terrorist to their ancestral land, adding that Owerri-West has poised to support in any action they will take to resist the relocation of Boko Haram for obvious trado-cultural implication.

In the same vein a traditionalist and Herbalist who pleaded anonymity maintained that it is abomination of the highest order which the gods of the land will resist,it is a matter of consultation, he concluded.

It could be recalled that Federal Government and United Nations International Children Emergency Funds(UNICEF) have paid inspection tour of the Nsu Community to ascertain the readiness of the area for the planned relocation.
