INEC Presents Certificate of Return to Soludo

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented “Certificate of Return”to Professor Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy Onyedikachukwu Ibezim.
The brief ceremony at the Headquarters of INEC Office Awka, Anambra State Capital witnessed supporters of the Governor- Elect in their numbers at the INEC Office, chanting a solidarity victory songs for their new Governor.
The presentation of the certificate was done by Professor Mahmoud Yakubu represented by the INEC Federal Commissioner for Voter Education, Mr.Festus Okoye.
Professor Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy were elected Governor under the All Progressive Grand Allance (APGA) Party at the just concluded November 6th gubertorial election conducted by INEC.
About eighteen polical parties filled in their aspirants in the elections which has been described by many Nigerians as one of the most peaceful election by INEC of recent.
