Marlon Dwarfs Woko , others in Southern Ijaw Constituency 3 election

Hon Moses Marlon has been declared the winner of the Southern Ijaw Constituency 3 house of assembly election conducted on March 18th 2023.
Hon Moses Marlon ,a member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, who is a second term seeker contested along side with other candidates who polled 4,759 votes to beat his closet rival Barr Woko Timibieri of the All Progressive Congress, APC , who scored 2,817 votes and Mr Richman Godsgift Taxbugu of African Democratic Congress, ADC who polled 09 votes respectively.
The result was declared by the Returning Officer, Dr Joseph Oke Omoro.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the results were declared an elated Hon Moses Marlon expressed his gratitude to the almighty God for his success and appreciated His Excellency , senator Douye Diri, the leader of the party as well as party faithfuls , but not forgetting the prayer team and the entire Southern Ijaw Constituency 3 for their massive supports.
