Ogah Contributes to APC failure in Abia State -Apugo

The chieftain and General Coordinator of Abia Internal Politics and Board of Trustee (BOT) Member of All Progressive Congress in Abia State Chief B B Apugo has accused the Federal Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development Dr. Uchechkwu Sampson Ogah of contributing and betraying the party APC in 2019 Gubernatorial election in Abia State.

Speaking with APC Stakeholders in Abia State recently, he said that Dr. Ogah allowed the State Governor Dr. Okezie Okpeazu to purchase the gubernatorial form for him, thereby force closing the chances of the party from winning the election, adding that since he has been in politics he has not seen such undynamic political strategy.

“Politics is a game of intelligence coupled with focus and dexterity.

In the same development, the Federal Minister of State for Steel and Development Dr. Uchechkwu Sampson Ogah in his own defence said that Chief B B Apugo contributed 95 Percent of APC failure in 2019 gubernatorial election in Abia State.

He disclosed that Apugu in 2015 as BOT member of APC had a candidate of his choice for governorship of Abia State, but was unable to deliver him as the governor of the state, stressing that in that election he also was unable to gather up to five percent votes for president Buhari during the presidential election of 2015.

Minister further highlighted that to showcase unacceptability by his people, he lost the State House
of Assembly seat that was given to him for Umuahia East Constituency within the time under review

“To be honest, APC party had no followership in Abia State until I joined the party in 2016, since then the part has continued to be on the rise “
