Ovim Community in Isukwuato, launches the Ovim Economic Forum to Expand the Youths Income

The Ovim Community people in Isukwuato local government area of Abia state has last week Friday, launched an Ovim Economic forum targeted to deliberately, create employment for the youths in the community.
This was made known by the President-General of Ovim Community, Chief Godswill Egbe during the launching of Ovim Economic forum, at Obayi Ovim hall, in Isukwuato LGA. Chief Egbe who said that he has a futuristic view of what he want to do from the time he was campaigning to become the President General of the community.
He said, he started by focusing on what were the problems of the community and how to solve them. That was his major focus, and for the people living in the community and residents to make enough legal economic corridors and to ensure enough businesses are going round the community which will make them make enough money like those in the urban areas.
Communicating with some Journalists during the event, the Chairman of the Ovim Economic Forum, Dr Ejike orji who said that the cause of youth restiveness in Nigeria is because of the population of unemployed youths
who are not meeting their aspirations on daily basis.
He disclosed that, most youths are not gainfully employed, they now become easy targets to be recruited into all criminal activities in our society.
Addressing the press men after the event, the former Nigeria Army Chief of staff, Lieutenant General Azubuike Ihejirika rtd, and Chairman of the occasion, asked the government to create employment for our youths,
as that will solve problem of restiveness among the youths of our country.
He also pointed out that some of the programmes are being stocked inside the project, do not have long gestation period meaning that will not take time for the benefits to begin to manifest.
He also revealed that Ovim youths, are going to be trained by the experienced professionals who will be providing them with answers to all the questions they will ask for their farming system.
