PLASU VC Commission Law Faculty,set to exit Office

The Vice Chancellor of Plateau State University, PLASU, Bokkos Prof. Yohanna Izam has commissioned a newly build Faculty of Law in the State University as he bow out of office following the completion of his five years tenure.

He said the 1bilion naira project covering construction and furnishing of the Faculty of Law, build under the 2019 TETFUND Special High Impact Intervention has brought to bare a new narrative about the State University in the country. 

The Vice Chancellor hinted that the new Faculty of Law will be expected to commenced Academic activities this year with 60 students for a start base on the standard of running a new Faculty by National University Commission (NUC) in the country. 

The Coordinator Faculty of Law Barr. Mark Danung, while commending on the progress so far made after the handing over of the Faculty to him described the structure as one of the best in the country and promised to put to use the new structure judiciously for the advancement of Legal profession in the country. 

The newly built Faculty of Law in the State University has 11 Classrooms occupied with 300 seats at the moment, a Library located upstair as well as an ICT Centre for the Law students.
