Plateau Governor, Mutfwang Appoints Local Governments’ Transition Committee Chairmen

The Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has appointed Interim Transition Committee Chairmen for the 17 Local Government Councils of the state and foreworded their names to the House of Assembly for legislative approval.
Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Abok Nuhu Ayuba read the governor’s communication with names of the Interim Transition Committee Chairmen for all the local government Councils during plenary on Friday.
Our correspondent observed that four former chairmen that were removed alongside Governor Caleb Mutfwang then in 2015 by the Lalong’s administration made the list of 17 Local council transition list.
They are Nicholas Kemi Nshe-Shendam, Nanmua Kumzhi- Langtang North, Peter Vwang Dung-Jos South and Daniel Kunmi-Mikang Local Government councils respectively.
However, Fridays plenary was the Plateau 9th Assembly validatory session.
Speaker of the House, Rt.Hon. Abok Ayuba disclosed during the valedictory session that the House passed 74 bills in the course of its legislative business.

;Mangu: Hon. Markus Artu; Bokkos: Hon. Monday Kassa
; Pankshin: Hon. Samuel Go’ar; Kanke: Hon. Caleb Shikir; Kanam: Hon. Ado Yusuf; Shendam: Hon. Nicholas Kemi Nshe; Quanpan: Hon. Christopher Audu manship
