Senator Omo- Agege Cautions Gov Okowa

Ahead of the 2023 presidential elections,Senator Ovie Omo- Agege,APC Gubernatorial Campaign Organization has advised the PDP,s Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Ifeanyi not to utilize state funds to fund Alhaji Atiku Abubakar,s campaign and other political activities .
Senator Ovie Omo- Agege Campaign Director of Communication and Media Strategy , Emma Niboro said the call was required in the light of solid intelligence information that the 2023 general election is a PDC conduit pipe to rob the state.
The exploitation of tax payers monies and Deltans pooled resources to fund personal political goals was deemed unacceptable, heartless and inhuman by the organization.
“It is unfortunate that Delta House of Assembly approved a #25bn loan was for Governor Okowa allegedly to plant palm trees on the same, denying that Rivers state governor Nyesom Wike approved immediate payment of outstanding gratuities ,pensions arrears ,death benefits for retirees of the Rivers state public service”
“This came just for a day after the embattled PDP candidate, Okowa,s yes man and the state House of Assembly speaker, Rt Hon Sheriff Oberivwori accepted a contentious #150bn loan”
“We have evidence to believe that these loans are being used to fund Atiku,s presidential elections.We shall not stand by as Governor Okowa impoverish our people in order to enthrone a man who had nothing to offer Deltans and Nigerians in general”
” We would not be where we are today if Governor Okowa had spent half the time pursuing his vice president,s ambition”
