The month of November sanitation exercise, encouraging

The residents of Abia state have been charged to make the cleanliness of their surroundings a priority.
The Commissioner Abia State Ministry of Environment, Barrister Sam Nwogu made the charge while monitoring the month of November environmental sanitation exercise in the state.
Barrister Nwogu, who was represented by the Director, Pollution Control and Environmental Health Management of the ministry Mr Godson Agharanya, called on the residents of the state, not to wait for them to be reminded of the need to maintain clean environment.
He assured of a more compliance by the people of the state, maintaining that today exercise was encouraging and called on them to do more.
According to him, the ministry would embark on aggressive sensitization for more representation in the next exercise. The commissioner also appealed to all Abians to come out massively and participate during the month of December environmental clean up exercise to enable all the Abians celebrate the Christmas in a clean environment.
