2023 Presidency: Governor Tambuwal Meets Plateau Delegates.

The Executive Governor of Sokoto State Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has promised to provides the needed security in the country to enable farmers go back to their farms if given the People’s Democratic Party,PDP, ticket and eventually emerge president in 2023.
Tambuwal represented by the Director General of Campaign Senator Tunde Ogbeha said the presidential aspirant remained the best out of the total number of aspirants in the party.
According to Ogbeha, “Rt. Hon. Tambuwal has the experience of an Executive and that of Legislature and as a Lawyer he also has the knowledge of the judiciary and has the capacity and the integrity to lead this country.
“You will not be disappointed particular if you delegates from Plateau State vote for him in the coming party’s primaries.
“If elected as the President of this country, his first point of call will be the issues of security. He will tackle the security problem of this country in such a way that peace will be revived, farmers can go to farm and everybody will live in peace, that is the first agenda.”
He said there are so many programmes that will be unfolded as times goes on for the growth of the country and called on both the statutory and ad-hoc delegates to support them at the party’s convention.
“I want you delegates to support us at the party’s convention. Of all the aspirants who are also capable of being the President of this country, Tambuwal is the most capable,” he appealed.
The State party Chairman Hon. Chris Hassan said the party is looking for a true Nigerian to be the President of the country not minding the uproar about zoning the presidency in the forthcoming 2023 general elections in the country.
In his words, “Tambuwal is a detribalised person, the efforts of his DG who stayed in the State for four months to stabilize party in the State.
“PDP is looking for a true Nigerian to be President, we don’t mind the issue of zoning. Tambuwal has been there for us and when the times comes we will do the needful.”
