Voters Accept BVAS For 2023 Elections In Bauchi

INEC conducts mock election test on the efficiency of the Bio-Modal voter accreditation System(BVAS),the residents who have participated in the conduct of the exercise In Bauchi have expressed deepest confidence in the efficiency of the system which they believe will stand as a litmus test towards guiding the conduct and preparation of 2023 national election which was expected to be the most freest,transparent and acceptable national election by all Nigerians.

INEC have conducted this mock election exercise in six registration areas within six selected local government areas of the threes senatorial districts of Bauchi State.

A voter accredited In Bauchi local government,Zalihatu Ladan,expressed confidence that this election shall be free and fair election in Nigeria,

She added with this kind of exercise put in place,voters are very clear on the used of BVAS in the conduct of 2023 national election.

She also called on the voters to massively come out during Election Day and voted for their respective choices of candidates

Also speaking,another voter accredited in Darazo local government,Malam Fa’izu Shehu,stated that after undergoing accreditation process,he had now developed more confidence and believes in the electoral process of Nigeria ahead of 2023 elections.

In another development,The INEC Commissioner in charge of Bauchi,Borno and Yobe states respectively,Major General Moddibo Abubakar(Rtd),stated that voters in the state had been encouraged to get themselves ready to exercise their franchise.

He equally said that going by the efficacy of the BVAS as been displayed in the mock exercise,Nigerians should have good faith in the process of conducting the forthcoming 2023 general elections in the country.

Major General modibbo,rtd concluded that INEC as an independent electoral management body remains committed to serving Nigerians with free,fair,acceptable and credible national elections across national geography.
