ED-EL- FITR: Wamakko felicitates Muslims, urges peace, love & unity in Nigeria

The leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress APC in Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial District, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has rejoiced with Muslim Ummah over the success recorded in this 29 days of Ramadan fast, 1444 /2023.
The people’s Senator while addressing his people during the last day the breaking of fast in his home town, Gidan Kara village of Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
He described the spiritual exercise of Ramadan as one which attracts blessings and rewards of Allah and quick answers to prayers of His servants especially during this special month of Ramadan.
Sarkin Yamman Sokoto ceased the opportunity, to expressed his profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for given victory to Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto as Governor-elect to lead the state, he will soon be sworn-in by Allah’s will in a matter of days, Wamakko said.
In accordance with the press statement from his Media aides, Bashar Abubakar, Wamakko appreciated the benevolent of the Almighty Allah for giving APC the majority of seats contested for both at National and at the State levels.
Dr Wamakko equally prayed for Allah’s forgiveness for all the departed souls of Muslim brothers and sisters and all members of their families who passed away during the period under review.
The former Governor called on all Muslim faithfuls to ensure they use the lessons learned during the Ramadan especially at the Tafsir time (Annual preaching) and at the other forums for the continued blessings , protection from Almighty Allah.
Alhaji Wamakko prayed for Allah’s wisdom and guidance to be able to enhance business activities, welfare of the citizens and adequate security in the state for the overall development of the nation.
The event which witness a great attendance was the 22nd edition of the annual gesture.
He enjoined the Muslim faithfuls to observe Eid-el-Fitr celebrations with utmost care and happiness.
